Dear Western Michigan University Student,
On behalf of the Sigma Chi International Fraternity, please accept my congratulations on your acceptance to Western Michigan University. Sigma Chi believes that Western Michigan is a remarkable institution, and your acceptance to the university is a testament to your diligent work, academic success, and leadership potential. As the newest member of the Western Michigan Community, Sigma Chi is honored to announce one $250 scholarship to incoming non-Greek-letter male students at Western Michigan for the fall 2013 term.
Since 1855, Sigma Chi has developed leaders committed to the betterment of character, campus and community. Sigma Chi has more than 14,000 undergraduate members from 235 active undergraduate chapters across the United States and Canada, and more than 250,000 living alumni. Our core values of friendship, justice and learning have inspired leaders such as legendary actor John Wayne, David Letterman, and 2010 Super Bowl MVP, Drew Brees.
Beginning on September 8, 2013, Sigma Chi will be recruiting values-based leaders to found a Sigma Chi chapter at Western Michigan University. Becoming a Sigma Chi is one of the most highly sought-after and unique opportunities in the Greek-letter world.
